Ulcinj and Milan, Italy - Cousins of the Same Latitude and Sun Angle
Ulcinj is situated at a latitude and sun angle identical to Barcelona and Rome, but with more days of sunshine in a typical season.
The region lies on the edge of a subtropical zone of the European Mediterranean and has the Adriatic variant of the Mediterranean climate and subtropical vegetation.
Ulcinj is the beneficiary of more than 2,700 hours of sunlight each year. In mild winters the average air temperature in the coldest month, February,is 7.1'C. Snow is a rare sight. Spring arrives early each year and Fall extends late into the season.
